Stone Hill offers an escape from the crowds, a surplus of fresh country air and wide-open spaces.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • A minimum 2-night stay is required on weekends.
  • A minimum 3-night or longer stay is required over long weekends and public holidays.
  • Mid-Week rates for Single person incurs a 40% surcharge over the daily rate per person
  • Mid-week rates are available on request and availability, excluding peak and public holiday periods.
  • Cots & baby bedding are available on request at an extra R200 per night.
  • A minimum 50% deposit is required within 24 hours to secure a booking with proof thereof.
  • Final settlement to be paid at least 3 days prior to arrival by EFT or in cash or by VISA/MASTER card on arrival.
  • Only 1 free reservation change of dates up to a maximum of 45 days from original reservation date is permitted, excluding during public holiday periods
  • There are no refunds for premature departures.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Your booking is strictly for the stipulated number of guests confirmed as per the reservation.
  • Right of admission is reserved.

Cancellation fees are charged as follows:

  • 0 – 14 days prior to arrival = 100% of payment is non-refundable – or no-show – guest forfeits 100% of payment received – refer to NCPA No.68 – 2008 – Sec 17.
  • 15 – 28 days prior to arrival = 75% of payment is non refundable
  • 29+ days prior to arrival = 50% of payment is non refundable.
  • Cancellation refunds will incur a 10% admin fee.
  • There are no refunds for premature departures.
  • No Refunds will be made on cancelled bookings made by any 3rd parties or/on behalf of guests by a P.A, travel agencies, tour operators etc.

THE FARM SUPPORTS INDIGENOUS SMALL GAME AND BIRDLIFE

We have a 5 km walking trail where your dog(s) can run unleashed and there are benches for the weary to sit and catch their breath! Please remember to pack the dog’s water bowls and your drinks for the walk! Also, please remember to keep your dog’s rabies jabs up to date and ensure that they are medicated for ticks and fleas before coming to Stone Hill.

There have been number of sightings on the farm including Jackal, Duiker, Warthog, Porcupine, Snakes, Ticks, Scorpions, Bats, Vultures and prolific Birdlife. You need to walk very carefully and quietly to see them as they are notoriously shy. For the flora lovers, a mosaic of indigenous plants and insects can be seen on the farm.
